Minimum age for competition is 35 years
Age is determined as of 24 June 2027

Men's Masters Rugby 7s: 35+
Women's Masters Rugby 7s: 35+

Additional age divisions may be offered subject to sufficient team registrations. Divisions may be combined or adjusted depending on final entries.
The competition will be played in the Rugby Sevens format.
The competition will be conducted under the World Rugby Laws of the Game, including Rugby Sevens variations, together with any Masters-specific competition variations confirmed prior to competition.
Registered team squads will consist of a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 20 players.
The final competition format and draw will be determined following the close of team registrations and will reflect final team numbers and divisions.
The Team Manager is responsible for registering the team and is the primary team contact. The Team Manager will enter each player's name and email address through the GBRMG registration system. Each player will then receive an email link to formally join the team, complete their details and pay the applicable registration fees.
If a nominated player does not receive an email from the Team Manager / registration system, they should check their spam or junk folder.
Players may also register as a competitor and manually enter their team name. The team should already be pre-registered by the Team Manager, so the team name should be entered consistently.
Players who wish to participate but do not have a team may register individually as a Rugby 7s competitor and enter 'I need a team' when prompted for a team name. The Rugby 7s Sports Organiser will endeavour to allocate individual players to a suitable team where possible.
