Minimum Age

Minimum age for competition is 35 years. Age is determined as at first day of competition, 31 December 2022.

Fees

$25.00 per player, per competition

Games Registration Fee in addition to sport fee:

• Early Bird #1 - $69 per person (ends 31 Aug 2022)
• Early Bird #2 - $71 per person (ends 31 Dec 2022)
• Nominal Registration - $89 per person (ends 25 May 2023)

Mixed teams are allowed but the minimum age criterion must be applied as per age groups. If you are a single and would like to play, please put on your registration that you need a team member, and the convener will work with you on this

Events

Maximum of eight (8) teams will be accepted into the competition per age group limited by 8 rinks available every day of competition.

• Men's Pairs 12 ends
• Ladies Pairs 12 ends
• Mixed Triples 12 ends
• Mixed Fours 12 ends
• Mixed Open Pairs 12 ends

Additional Information

• All games to be of 18 ends with a time limit of 2 hours and 20 minutes
• Scheduling of games will be subject to change to accommodate entries, weather, necessity to finalise events etc
• Players must be registered with a bowls club
• Registrations close 14 May 2023

The provision of an accredited umpire per day which we will provide

Competition will be conducted under the rules Australian and Queensland Bowls Association Rules and regulations.

The competition is presented by the Edge Hill Memorial Bowls Club and is sanctioned by the Australian and Queensland Bowls Association.
